Anandan – Who are we

Anandan was formed in April, 1999 and funded by a group of like-minded ladies, with the objective of providing basic education in a creative learning environment to economically disadvantaged slum children.

Vision and Mission:- Our objective is to provide children with an all round education to give them a better understanding of the school curriculum, to enhance their awareness, logical thinking, power of expression and in general to develop their abilities to their fullest extent. It is our mission to create a functional education programme and to direct their individual talents and dispositions towards suitable earning opportunities. We give particular attention to older children and girls since there is a greater chance of them dropping out of school.
